So far, we've had a couple of girls, few dudes, a robot and our favorite, Dogmeat. Does dogmeat count as a companion in Fallout 4? It has a 1/150 chance of being sold by the Travelling Merchant for 5. The poison will cause your companion to go unconscious a few times, but the poison will eventually wear off. You may need to completely dismiss the follower from your party.
